The University of South Wales’ designation as a Gold Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Education (ACE‑CSE) represents the highest level of recognition within the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)-backed programme. It reflects sustained excellence across teaching, student outcomes, industry collaboration, outreach, and research and brings wide-ranging benefits to learners, employers, and the wider Welsh and UK community.

As an Academic Centre of Excellence, we demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting the wider cyber security community. This includes delivering impactful outreach to schools and colleges, building collaborative partnerships with other higher education institutions, and actively contributing to the development of wider cyber security policies and strategic action plans.
