Shahrzad Zargari

Shahrzad is the Associate Head of Cyber Security at Sheffield Hallam University, bringing over 15 years of extensive experience in IT, spanning computer hardware, software, and business management. Shahrzad is passionate about digital forensics and security, advocating collaboration (i.e. Government, Industry & Academia), sharing information and educating students. Shahrzad sits in the Yorkshire Cyber Security Cluster steering committee and She is the Yorkshire representative at the UKC3 Skills Growth Working Group as well as being the BCS South Yorkshire Branch Students Engagement Coordinator.
Shahrzad is an experienced researcher (CENTRIC), having published book chapters as well as many papers in conferences, journals, and magazines. Additionally, I am the associate editor of Information Security Journal: A Global Perspective at Taylor & Francis. Shahrzad’s background in applied statistics and data mining allows her to have a unique approach towards cyber security, including intrusion detection.
