Defence & Security Enrichment week

USW is bringing together leading public and private sector organisations for two days of collaboration, innovation and career inspiration in one of the UK’s fastest-growing and most strategically important sectors.

We’re inviting organisations to get involved in one or more of the following ways:

Present a talk to our staff and students linked to defence and security
Run a workshop, hands-on activity or demo
Exhibit and showcase your organisation, conference-style
Attend and connect with the next generation of talent from across our faculty: Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Data Science, AI and Science

The event aims to:

Drive research collaboration by giving students, researchers and academic staff a platform to showcase current projects, innovation and R&D activity
Boost graduate employability and career readiness in this high-growth, strategically important sector
Build lasting connections between industry, government, academia and emerging talent
